Mahindra University

On July 24, 2020, Mahindra group launched Mahindra University which is part of the Mahindra Educational Institutions (MEI), a not-for-profit subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. Mahindra University is a multidisciplinary institution in India committed to nurturing future leaders. Its curriculum combines academic rigour with industry relevance, focusing on engineering, business, and law.

Project Overview

Mahindra University - Setup brand identity

Mahindra University is a private university in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was founded in 2014 by the Mahindra Group in collaboration with École Centrale Paris and JNTU Hyderabad. The university is sponsored by Mahindra Educational Institutions (MEI), a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra.

Little bit of Context (Problem) 🤓

The Mahindra Group embarked on a mission to establish a distinctive brand identity for Mahindra University. In pursuit of this goal, they engaged several agencies and tapped into the creative reservoirs of their in-house design talents, including BORN group, Pininfarina, and Digital Studio within Tech Mahindra.

 

As a member of the Tech Mahindra's Digital Studio, we seized the opportunity to demonstrate our capability in crafting a strong brand identity. This endeavor sparked a fierce sense of competition among the in-house talent hubs, each eager to showcase their creative prowess and skills.

Delving into the essence of the brand was an essential step in crafting both the logo and brand book. It was vital to gain a profound understanding of the vision set forth by Anand Mahindra, the Managing Director of the Mahindra Group.
